The Damon-Kimmel saga continues.

Matt Damon has been “begging’’ for a real Jimmy Kimmel Live! appearance—and Jimmy Kimmel has been leading him on by making him wait in the basement without WiFi every night (the horror!)—for a long, long time. It’s been fun to watch through the years. There have been temper tantrums and embarrassing wardrobes.

But Tuesday night the pair sought to resolve their issues. In couples therapy.

In a sketch, Damon and Kimmel addressed their problems, talked out past fights, and were forced to compliment each other.

“I like some of his friends,’’ Kimmel told their therapist. “You know, Ben [Affleck],’’

“To be fair, I like his show,’’ Damon said. “I wouldn’t have waited for 12 years to get on if I didn’t like his show.’’

After all that, Damon and Kimmel landed on a resolution: to keep Damon on JKL’s deck for another 12 years.

Another decade-plus of sketches like these? We’ll take it.
