Robert Kraft and the Patriots got their own burger on ‘Wahlburgers’
The Patriots owner made a guest appearance on Wednesday’s episode, which also featured cameos by Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman.
It’s no secret that Mark Wahlberg is a huge Patriots fan, so it was only a matter of time until he gave his favorite team their own burger on Wahlburgers.
On Wednesday’s episode, Mark tasked his brother Paul with creating a new burger of the month worthy of Robert Kraft and his four-time Super Bowl-winning team. The Patriots owner even made a guest appearance on Wednesday’s show, which also featured cameos by Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman.
As if making a burger for a billionaire and his NFL franchise weren’t enough pressure, Mark had chef Paul scrambling to put together a couple different versions of the Patriots-inspired menu item. The Hollywood star enlisted the help of Gronkowski and Edelman to come up with their own ideas, which Paul didn’t really think was necessary.
The pair recommended adding some peculiar ingredients to the new burger.
“Maybe some New England clam chowder,’’ Gronkowski said.
“Or fried clams?’’ Edelman added.

Paul ended up making a version for each of the stars’ ideas, but Kraft decided that he wanted his own burger, to the dismay of Gronkowski and Edelman.
While the final choice was supposed to be made by the Patriots owner, Kraft told Paul during an on the field meeting at Gillette that he could make the decision about what goes on the menu. The catch was, Paul had to kick a football over the goal line.
Luckily for the Wahlburgers star, his athletic abilities didn’t fail him.
Paul ended up picking the Kraft burger, which wasn’t a bad choice. The mouth-watering menu item is topped with four onion rings, one for each of the Patriots’ Super Bowl wins.
Sounds delicious.
