Jessica Williams wants women to get money, not just be on money
The news about a woman possibly being on the new $10 doesn’t immediately solve all females’ financial troubles.
Women have been responding to the news about the new $10 bill with a lot of sass. Sure, women are happy for the change, but they’ve been quick to point out that one little advancement does not a utopia make.

The fearless and funny Jessica Williams added to this on the Daily Show. In response to Jon Stewart saying “This is a giant leap for womankind, yes?’’ she puts it into perfect perspective,
“If by giant leap you mean awkward trip forward on a jagged sidewalk that you pretended you did on purpose,’’ Williams said.
You see, the Treasury didn’t announce that they’ll redesign the bill because they wanted to do right by woman and include them in the country’s currency. They just happened to be due for an anti-counterfeiting change.
Williams says people love having cash but nobody cares who’s on it.
“Honestly Jon, at the end of the day I don’t give a damn who’s on the bill,’’ she said. “What I do care about is getting an equal share of the bill. I’d rather have 10 full Hamilton dollars than $8.45 of lady bucks.’’
Sounds simple enough, right? You go, Williams.
