Conan O’Brien tells viewers to watch David Letterman instead

O’Brien gave a sweet nod to the late-night legend.

Conan O’Brien shared a time slot with David Letterman’s final show last night. Like many other comedians who have been honoring the late-night legend this week, O’Brien turned the attention to The Late Show, even on his own time.

After discussing how David Letterman impacted his own career, Conan told his viewers to change the channel just as Letterman’s final show aired for his goodbye after 33 years. Earlier this week, Jimmy Kimmel did something similar, begging his audience not to watch Jimmy Kimmel Live!’’ but to tune into The Late Show instead.
