SNL: Tom Brady charms his way out of Deflategate
Roger Goodell should take note: Winning a PR battle against Tom Brady is no easy task. Saturday Night Live took one last swing at Deflategate during its season finale, and Tom Terrific came out relatively unscathed. Taran Killam’s Brady wheedled and smiled his way through an interview during SNL’s Weekend Update segment.
“Tom’’ spent the three minute segment eluding tough questio ns by name-dropping his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen, “Evan, my favorite Make-A-Wish child,’’ the troops, and his “American children.’’

It’s not the first time SNL sent up Brady for Deflategate. Back when the so-called scandal broke, Killam, as Brady, dismissed the air pressure question as “nerd stuff.’’ And imaginary equipment manager Dougie Spoons was exponentially nicer to Tom than his actual equipment managers.
