Jon Stewart rips Tom Brady on Deflategate
Jon Stewart had plenty to say about Deflategate during Thursday evening’s The Daily Show. And most of it was pretty hilarious.
In a segment entitled “The Fresh Prince of Ball Air,’’ Stewart tore into Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, accusing him of lying about his knowledge of deflated footballs during the AFC Championship Game.
Stewart showed news clips, shared Deflategate newspaper front pages, and even played the Rob Gronkowski Deeez Nuuuts video.
Near the end of the segment, Stewart willingly displayed his bias in the matter, admitting that he’d never have chastised the quarterback if Brady played for Stewart’s favorite football team, the New York Giants.
