Blizzard Coming to Boston Tonight

Are you ready for tonight’s blizzard? It’s not the Polar Vortex, it’s Boston Ski & Sports Club’s annual Blizzard Ski Season Kickoff party. Tonight at the Royale Boston at 279 Tremont Street, from 6-9pm, is a big ski party with prizes of gear and trips and of course – a shot ski. This is the warm up to Thursday’s Boston Ski and Snowboard Expo, and a great chance to meet fellow Boston skiers and snowboarders, hear about the Ski Club trips planned, and maybe win some swag.
Your admission to the Blizzard party gets you a goody bag with free lift tickets, plus a chance at winning a ski vacation to Quebec, Lake Louise in Banff Canada, or a pair of Parlor Skis. A highlight of tonight’s ski party is the showing of the ski film, “Sculpted in Time.” Entry is $15 per person – buy your ticket in advance, or it’s $20 at the door until they sell out. Buy a party pack with your ski buddies, 4 for $40. Boston Ski and Sport Club members pay $10. Ski resort reps will be there to share details about the Ski Club trips, which will be revealed during the party. Also, DJ Obie will be spinning some après ski music.
