Bonus days skiing a Volcano for Killington pass holders

Have you skied a volcano? Last week we hit Mt Bachelor in Oregon for amazing snow, sun and 3,700 acres of skiing off Bachelor’s conical 9,065′ peak, a dormant volcano with 360-degrees of ski-able terrain. Bachelor is amazing with vast summit snowfields, 3,365′ vertical and 400″ of snow annually.

You may want to think about booking a Bachelor trip next winter, especially if you are Killington skier. Here’s the scoop for East Coasters, buy a 2014-15 Killington Pico season pass and you get three free ski days at Mt Bachelor. You see Mt Bachelor in Oregon, like Killington and Pico, is owned by Powdr Corp – the ski conglomerate also owns Park City Mountain Resort, Copper, Ski Las Vegas, and Boreal. Killington’s Unlimited 2014-15 pass gets you three days at each Powdr Resort, plus a super long season at Killington – noted for being first to open and last to close in The East.

Another bonus, next year’s pass also includes three days skiing at neighboring Okemo. Consider a Beast of the East pass purchase, and go ski the volcano with your Bachelor bonus days.
