Q&A with Seth Wescott

At 37, three-time gold medalist Seth Wescott is hardly finished with his Olympic voyage. After undergoing knee surgery last spring, the Maine native hopes to be on track to be in Sochi, Russia, for the 2014 Winter Games, and even feels that he has enough snowboard cross left in him that he’ll be able to also shoot for the event at the South Korea Games in 2018, when Wescott will be 41.

For now though, Wescott is busy promoting the latest Warren Miller film, “Ticket to Ride,” the third Miller movie he’s appeared in. Prior to Saturday’s screening in Boston, Wescott sat down with Boston.com to discuss the film, how he’s recovering from his injury, and how his 70-year-old father fared in last month’s Head of the Charles.
