Pats defense can score you a discount

You’re going to root for the Patriots defense anyway this weekend when New England hosts Baltimore in a first-round AFC playoff game, but New Hampshire‘s RaggedMountain is giving you a little added incentive to do so.

Whatever amount of points the Patriots hold the Ravens to on Sunday is the price that you’ll pay for a lift ticket at Ragged on Monday. The deal, which began last month with some blackout dates, is good through the end of the playoffs (minus Jan. 18).

Following Sunday’s loss to the Texans, skiers hit the slopes yesterday for $35, $17 off the regular, mid-week ticket price. But on Dec. 21, the Monday after the Patriots beat the Jaguars, the cost of a lift ticket was just $10. You need to fill out a voucher and bring it to the ticket window for the offer.

The Ravens scored an average of 24.4 points per game during the regular season, while the Patriots defense surrendered an average of 17.8 points per game, so you may be looking at somewhere around $20 for a ticket on Monday.
