This weekend is going to be a gem.

Stockpiles of snow cover the mountains of New England. The forecasts are calling for sunshine and the thermometer will be pushing fifty degrees in the Hub.

That means very mild temperatures up North. Hero conditions will prevail. I do not think things will end up going all corny on us, especially the further north you head. However, I will say this. Supersonic skiing and riding will be out there for the taking at every area with a lift in our region this weekend.

Jay Peak is offering a nice affordable package for this weekend. It is being promoted as – purchase lodging and lift tickets are free. What you need to know and do follows.
Rates starting at $99 per person, per day and that will get you into the Hotel Jay.
