MLK Weekend Deals and Events

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is this Monday (01/19/2009). Good news is for most of the work force that equals a long weekend. Great news being reserved for skiers, riders, and any other outdoor snow enthusiasts.

The winter conditions across New England are approaching exceptional. Mountains should be able have an enormous amount of terrain open. The cold air will allow them to resurface all of the snowmaking trials. Packed powder and snow in the woods will be the prevailing weekend reports.

S.G. Recommendation: You should make a point to spend at least one day this weekend on the snow. Day Trip or Weekend Overnight, really does not matter which, it will be good. Many mountains have seen a lot of snowfall accumulate in the last week and they are certain to get more very soon.
