Best Ski Scene in a Movie

Invest the 10 minutes. The opening scene is spectacular. That should get you fired up for the season.
The release of the movie was in 1985. After my 3rd run-through it dawned on me that the snowboarding piece WAY before it’s time.
Q1: Did James Bond introduce the concept of snow surfing to the movie going public?
Q2: Is there a better ski/snowboard scene in any movie?
