Head Scratching Weather

Not sure about what we get this weekend. Kinda looks look either an ALL SNOW deal or a Total Bust (TB). Obviously, there will be a line in the sky telling the tale on the ground…

Questions with $$$ answers – where and when?

The rain to the south and wintery mix to the north both last night and today most certainly did not help the preservation of good conditions, but that has been our season.

Great Skiing!

The S.G. has Good News!
• We gain an extra hour of daylight on Sunday
• The bases are BIG
• Good Friday is 3/21
• Additional Pow Days are in the forecast
• Spring is now!
Something happens on 3/17…
Weekend Diagnoses: Sunday will be the day. If we do get snow, it has the potential of being a lot. Skiing may be grand. Be willing to crank 6 hours of round trip windshield time to get the goods on a day trip. Personally thinking Cannon, NH.
The Better News
Long Range look into March form Best Ski Weather

Pattern very active into mid-late March. Look for another storm around the 14th with mixed precip and rain south and snow or mixed north.
Now, after the 15th, the NAO index over Greenland becomes negative. THIS MEANS PLENTY OF COLDER AIR MID-LATE MONTH AND EVEN SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND GETTING SNOWS AFTER THESE RECENT WASHOUTS…..IT WOULD NOT SURPRISE ME IF NEW YORK CITY OR BOSTON GET A SURPRISE MID-LATE MARCH SNOWSTORM BY THEN WITH A REBOUND IN SKI CONDITIONS LATER IN THE MONTH

…3/17 is a vacation day for the S.G.
