Attention Weekend Warriors!
New SNOW!
Not to late to still get north.
Check out this radar loop form Accuweather.com. Looks like the perfect scenario for the evening drive to the Ski Mountains from Boston. This storm should actually give way to clear, starlit skies by the time the whistle blows for the working masses.

If you are still debating about the weekend, just go ski. Here a few things you should be aware of…
• Today’s storm is going to drop on average a half foot in the North Country.
• Ski areas have had the snowmaking online for over 48 hours.
• There is a chance for more snow on Saturday night.
• Sunday is going to be Very COLD, bring your warmest gear.
• Conditions should be best in the mornings before a lot of traffic hits the slopes.
• Monday is a holiday for most.
The real question is Saturday night. As the cold air rushes in will mountains get touched by any banding Lake Affect snows? These types of weather scenarios have brought places over a foot of “Surprise” powder in the past.
There is also a coastal storm that may impact mountains in NH & ME.
I am heading to Killington and for several reasons. Here are the most notable.
1. The huge snowmaking system has been roaring this week; they are opening terrain like crazy = morning groomies.
2. The resort has 2 gondolas. Covered lifts are HUGE when it gets really chilly like it will this Sunday & Monday = stay warm on the ride up.
3. I like that regions chance for picking up the aforementioned Saturday snow = powder day Sunday?
Get out there and enjoy! Use this LINK to see what your areas report for new snow this afternoon.
Go Patriots!
Think Snow and stay warm out there,
