Sunday River is OPEN for the Season!
in Bethel, Maine is the first ski resort to open in New England.
They were able to beat out the rest of the crowd by spinning the lifts on Halloween (maniacs) and now they have them turning full time.
Fact 1: The Locke Mountain Triple opened for skiers and riders on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 11:30 a.m.

This is very early to have major ski slopes open for business. There will be more to follow very soon.
Fact 2: The Sunday River season opening is two weeks ahead of last year’s opening date of Nov. 21.

Mother Nature has been cooperating and by the looks of the long-range forecasts, things are really going to get good in the next few weeks for lots of locations.

Snowmaking operations are underway on T2, Sunday Punch, Cascades, Jungle Road and others.

The Deal: Early season lift tickets $35 for adults and $25 for juniors and seniors. Skiers and riders who bring 3 cans of food on Saturday, Nov. 10 and Sunday, Nov. 11 will receive a $20 lift ticket.
They are making snow like crazy! Time to cash in some of the promotional tickets they were giving out a few weeks ago at a Red Sox game.
