Jay Peak Weekend Deal

***Next weekend only! (2/24 – 2/26) Jay Peak Resort is offering up a deal only for you, the readers that ski and ride***

Limited Availability…

The Ski Guru loves Jay Peak, can I say that? It has a Tram, awesome terrain, the most snow, great trail and lift system (unless you get stuck on the Queens Highway T-bar at the end of the day), and being just a little further away from your everyday life.

Answers:
• Cell phones work great at Jay, full bars (Verizon).
• It is an easy 4 hour drive from downtown Boston.
• There is a good night life.
• They do not lie about their snow.
Things to know:
• If you are going up late at night to avoid Friday rush hour fill up the tank when you see an easy off/of in central NH. Gas stations close early upstate.
• The wind does move the snow, so follow it to find the deep.
• French is handy.
• Anything goes on the slopes. Bring your best, back it up.

If anywhere in New England is going to have Powder Stashes you can bet it will be Jay Peak. They picked up a “surprise” half foot Tuesday. The mountain is 90% open which equates to 67 trails. Lifts are batting 1000, eight 4 eight. Snow surface report of PDR/PP is strong. That is a very good report card (A-). With the new snow they should be up to 73 -76 trails soon, which would give them a straight A. Check Snow Country for updates.
Hit up their site for Photo of the Day.
The Zip Code is 05859. Check your favorite weather site for the forecast. I just gave the 15 day at AccuWeather.com a glance and I liked what I saw. The mix does not scare me, and when the cold air rushes in they will pick up snow—not predicted.
Here is the deal!
They’ve got a couple of spots left in the Slopeside units for next weekend, the end of President’s week.
It is a Boston.com exclusive (that’s what they are telling me).
SPECIAL RATE for a 2-night stay arriving Friday, February 24th and departing Sunday, February 26th. $299 per person (based on double occ.). This includes 2-nights lodging in a 2-bedroom Slopeside condominium and 2-days of skiing per person.
That math works. Here is what you have to do!
1. Call reservations and tell them you saw this deal on Boston.com.

Easy, right? I am convinced that Skiing will be much improved by the 24th which makes this a steal. You might as well spoil yourself when you can this season.
