The meteorologists are talking snow! The outlook for this week—Mother Nature could bring a substantial winter event to the mountains in the form of a Clipper. Let’s not even think about the ‘R’ word up north. Even better, I heard Herb Steven’s, The Skiing Weatherman, give his outlook for this season = BIG SNOWS all winter long.
I purchased a new pair of skis at the Ski Expo this weekend. I entered the huge Ski Market spread pretty much knowing what I wanted, it was more a matter of finding it. The place was a zoo—in an awesome way. There were customers and employees everywhere. Merchandise Sale Tags marked with deep discounts. Everything could be had, whether one was looking to outfit a family of first timers or just grab a few items off of their own list.
I was very impressed with the Ski Market employees on the floor. I did a bit of eavesdropping to find out what they were telling people. All offered correct and fair advice, not being pushy and not trying to take advantage of anyone’s ignorance. It was a nice environment to be a part of and I believe the customers all enjoyed the experience. Plus the deals people were getting simply could not be beat.
If you did not make it to the Expo and are still in need of some gear Ski Market undoubtedly has a location near your home (over 25 stores) that you can visit.
Think Snow!
