Cambridge’s River Gods has permanently closed after 15 years, according to a tweet from the restaurant.

The Central Square restaurant known for its mismatched chairs, classic cocktails, vegetarian- friendly menu, and diverse music, announced its closing Monday night. The restaurant thanked its loyal customers, staff, and DJs in the post for their constant support.

“It has truly been an honor to serve you and be a part of your every day life,” the restaurant said in the post. “… This has been a very difficult and emotional time and we are so sad to say goodbye.”
