Island Creek Oyster Bar’s team is gearing up for a new Cambridge restaurant

Island Creek Oyster Bar

and Row 34 are two big names in Boston’s culinary scene, and now the owners of both have their eyes on Cambridge for a brand new spot.

Chef Jeremy Sewall, Skip Bennett, Garrett Harker, and Shore Gregory, the team behind those two popular restaurants, announced Monday that they are planning to open a restaurant in Harvard Square’s historic Conductor’s Building at 2 Bennett St.

According to a release, the restaurant is slated to open this winter and will be designed by New York-based firm Bentel & Bentel.

The team of restaurateurs will continue to collaborate together in operating both Row 34 locations—in Fort Point and Portsmouth, New Hampshire—and Island Creek Oyster Bar in Kenmore Square, as well its forthcoming spot in Burlington.
