This Somerville dairy-free bakery is closing soon
Sabertooth Vegan Bakery, operating out of Taco Party, will go on “permanent vacation.’’
There will be one less place for vegan sweets in Somerville soon as Sabertooth Vegan Bakery announces it will go on a “permanent vacation,’’ owner Evie Noël wrote on Instagram.
Noël has been running Sabertooth for about five years. The business has hopped around to different kitchens and joined forces with vegan eatery Taco Party to opperate out of their first brick-and-mortar spot this past July.

“I don’t really have an anniversary date for this bakery but it’s been about 5 years now and many more kitchens than that,’’ Noël continued on Instagram. “I love it and all my awesome customers but things here just haven’t been working out. It’s always been my dream to live in California and work on an animal sanctuary and I was offered an amazing opportunity to do that.’’

There’s no official end date, but expect the sweets to be gone in about two weeks or less, Noël wrote. Sabertooth offers doughnuts in a variety of flavors like root beer glaze and chocolate chip, along with cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. Get them at Taco Party (711 Broadway, Somerville) while you still can.
