A beer hall chain is getting its first Massachusetts location
World of Beer will offer about 50 beers on tap and more in bottles.
East Cambridge is getting a new beer haven this summer.
World of Beer, a Florida-based bar chain that offers about 50 beers on draft from around the world and even more bottles, will take over the space of the now-closed California Pizza Kitchen at CambridgeSide Galleria, Boston Eater reports.

The tavern chain previously planned to open their first Massachusetts location in Davis Square, according to Eater. Even when that fell through, they solidified their commitment to open in the greater Boston area.
World of Beer will offer more than 500 beers in total and serve up traditional pub food like German pretzels with house-made beer cheese, flatbread pizzas, and chicken wings.
