An aptly-named fast casual dining spot that got its start in the Boston area just closed one of its oldest locations.

The Boston Market in Saugus has closed for good, Boston Restaurant Talk reports. The location, which was at 168 Broadway, no longer appears on the company’s website.

Boston Market got its start in Newtonville in 1985 under the name “Boston Chicken.’’ The name change occurred in 1995, around the time its headquarters moved to Colorado.

Boston Market’s history is not without tough financial moments — the chain was bankrupt less than six years after the company’s introduction to the stock market after expanding too quickly, according to Fortune.

The closest chain locations to the previous Saugus spot are in Swampscott and Medford, with Boston Markets still operating in Back Bay/Fenway area, Dorchester, Waltham, Quincy, Norwood, Brockton and Framingham.
