The brains behind Shojo are bringing the ruckus to Chinatown.

Ruckus Noodles will be a 20-seat noodle bar featuring new takes on traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Thai soups by executive chef Mark O’Leary, according to Boston magazine.

The name is a nod to “Bring Da Ruckus,’’ the classic 1993 track from the Wu-Tang Clan. Nods to hip-hop legends aren’t new for this team: Shojo has “Wu-Tang Tiger Style Ribs’’ as a menu item.

It will be located at 5 Tyler St., in the same building as Shojo. Shojo first opened in the summer of 2012 and has won “best of’’ awards from Improper Bostonian and Boston magazine.
