Red Sox Looking to Make Love Connections Between Single Fans
If Major League Baseball has its way, that old favorite ballpark ditty “Take Me Out to the Ballgame’’ will have an entirely different meaning for single Red Sox fans.
This could be you, except you won’t be dating Ben Affleck or Jennifer Garner.
MLB.com is making a new push to connect single Red Sox fans through “Red Sox Singles,’ an online dating service through Match.com.
The service was launched in April, according to The Boston Globe.
Match.com warns that Yankees fans could very well be trolling the site, reported The Globe.

If two people do happen to hit it off, it’s unclear if they’re guaranteed to make it past first base or not.
