#TravelTuesday Pic: Where Is Jack Kerouac’s Grave?
Iconic Beat Generation author Jack Kerouac, who died in 1969 at the age of 47, is buried in Massachusetts. His gravesite received a makeover this fall when a local monument company installed a memorial stone that reads “The Road is Life,’’ taken from his best-known book, “On the Road.’’ Before that, his grave was marked by a flat plaque that was more difficult to find.
You’d have to go to which Massachusetts city to visit it? It’s the city where he was born and raised.
