Just a week after shaving off Patriots receiver Julian Edelman’s beard for charity, Ellen DeGeneres has repurposed the trimmings for a good cause.

The shavings are currently up for auction on the Charitybuzz website, with proceeds going to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston. The first bid is listed at $1,000 and the auction is open until the 3:21 p.m. EST on Feb. 22.

When DeGeneres originally shaved No. 11’s beard on her show, she donated $10,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, which Edelman matched.

According to the listing, the highest bidder will receive the beard clippings in a plastic bag and a signed photograph from DeGeneres of her shaving Edelman. Both come with signed letters of authenticity from DeGeneres.
