Halsey reportedly experienced a “minor medical emergency” in between her two sold-out Boston shows this week, but was back and “ready to rock” for the second show thanks to medical staff at Massachusetts General Hospital.
The singer-songwriter, born Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, brought her “Back to Badlands” tour to MGM Music Hall at Fenway on Sunday and Monday nights.
After Sunday’s show, the artist ended up in the emergency room until about 6 a.m., she shared to her Instagram story on Monday afternoon.
“Minor medical emergency but I am A-Okay now and ready to rock tonight! but if I’m pacing myself, that’s why!” Halsey wrote.
“Huge shout out to Mass General and Dr Kian, Dr Victoria and my nurses Carolyn and Alicia for being the absolute best team I’ve ever met,” she added.
“And I second that with regard to the imaging staff, transport team, and patient relations!!! I am so so grateful!” Halsey said. “LETS ROCK TONIGHT!”
Halsey has previously opened up about her health issues including systemic lupus erythematosus and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder, as well as endometriosis.
