Livestream: Berklee pianist Nikolai Mishchenko will perform on Boston.com Thursday
Boston.com and Berklee College of Music are collaborating on a virtual concert series from local artists.

In an effort to provide some virtual entertainment during the coronavirus pandemic, Boston.com is teaming up with Berklee College of Music student concert producer Victoria Verba to bring readers livestream performances from artists spanning genres including jazz, R&B, pop, and more. The performances take place on Boston.com’s Facebook and Instagram pages, and readers can vote for a song for the artists to cover beforehand.
Nikolai Mishchenko, a pianist and composer from Moscow, is up next in Boston.com’s concert series with Berklee College of Music. Mishchenko will be performing on Boston.com’s social media pages starting Thursday at 5 p.m.
The Berklee student, whose unique style combines traditional jazz roots and contemporary classical improvisations, has received many awards as a performer and composer and has participated in several renowned jazz festivals, including the Cambridge Arts River Festival, the Gubbio Summer Festival in Italy, Future of Jazz in Russia, and many others. Throughout his professional life, he has worked and performed with Mayssa Karaa, Gabrielle Goodman, Warren Wolf, Gregory Groover, ERINI and others. Mishchenko is passionate about discovering ways to bring science, poetry, nature, and music together in a way that connects and inspires others.
