Here’s the Holiday Pops schedule

Hear those sleigh bells jingling (ring tingle tingling too) among other festive musical instruments next month at Symphony Hall when the Boston Pops kicks off its holiday season. Tickets are on sale now for all 45 concerts and start at $25. Read on to discover the orchestra’s holiday offerings.

Traditional Holiday Pops Concert
Started 46 years ago by former Pops conductor Arthur Fiedler, this 125-minute production is stuffed with beloved holiday tunes, a sing-along, and a special appearance by Santa Claus.

Holiday Pops Sensory-Friendly Concert

This show is designed for children and adults diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder or sensory sensitivities. The hour-long concert features available noise-reduction headphones, credentialed and onsite autism therapist volunteers, designated quiet room and support spaces, extra space for movement, modified concessions, reduced volume and lighting levels, and relaxed house rules.

Holiday Pops Kids Matinee

Ideal for the whole family, these performances feature the Boston Symphony Children’s Choir and a children’s sing-along, as well as the opportunity to snap a photo with Santa after the show. And at 75 minutes, it’s less likely that the little ones will get antsy halfway through.

A Company Christmas at Pops with Special Guest Brian Stokes Mitchell

Designed for the Boston business community, this gala will recognize the partnership between the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the city’s corporate community. As an extra treat, two-time Tony Award-winner Brian Stokes Mitchell will take the stage on this night only.

Bugs Bunny at the Symphony: 30th Anniversary Edition

Spend an evening with Daffy Duck, Tweety, and the rest of the Looney Tunes gang as the Boston Pops provide live accompaniment to the classic cartoons. Conducted by George Daugherty, the concert includes “Baton Bunny,” “Long-Haired Hare,” “The Rabbit of Seville,” “Rhapsody Rabbit,”  “Show Biz Bugs,” and “What’s Opera, Doc?”

New Year’s Eve with the Boston Pops Swing Orchestra and The Hot Sardines 

Send off 2019 with some pizzazz as the Pops Swing Orchestra and eight-piece band The Hot Sardines fill Symphony Hall with jazz covers and originals.
