New Kids on the Block releasing ‘Hangin’ Tough (30th Anniversary Edition)’
New Kids on the Block just announced the 30th anniversary reissue of one of the group’s most popular albums, “Hangin’ Tough.’’ The album from Jonathan Knight,Jordan Knight,Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood doesn’t drop until March 8, 2019, but fans can preorder it on the boy band’s website now.
The 18-track “Hangin’ Tough (30th Anniversary Edition)’’ will feature NKOTB’s 10 songs from the original album, including “Please Don’t Go Girl,’’ “You Got It (The Right Stuff),’’ and “I’ll Be Loving You (Forever).’’ Five “rare remix tracks’’ will also be on it, as well as three new songs, including “80s Baby,’’ NKOTB’s collaboration with Debbie Gibson, Naughty by Nature, Salt-N-Pepa, and Tiffany.
The reissue news comes in the wake of the band announcing its “MixTape Tour,’’ a nationwide 30th anniversary tour, which will kick off in May 2019. NKOTB is scheduled to make a two-performance stop at Boston’s TD Garden on June 28 and 29, 2019. Lillian Brown
