Boston Calling is starting to look like Coachella
Boston Calling 2017 has a new location, and along with it, a new look. The open, green space of Harvard’s athletic complex provides plenty of room for giant stages and artsy installations, making Boston’s biggest music festival feel a bit like other big festivals across the country (see: Coachella and Bonnaroo). This time around, attendees are checking out…
A ferris wheel:

Small pop-up portals throughout the festival site with lyrics from performing bands:

A Bonnaroo-esque greeting gate:

An enormous bar and lounge:

Oh, and there will also be a lot of great music all weekend long.
