Celine Dion commanded the stage at Sunday night’s Billboard Music Awards, singing “My Heart Will Go On” to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the smash hit Titanic.

Dion emerged from an enormous chandelier, wearing a white gown with a plunging neckline and winged sleeves. The icon received an enormous applause for the beloved ballad, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1998.

“It was emotional,” Dion told Billboard in an interview after the show, adding, “I was like, ‘Hold your tears, hold your tears.’ Tonight it was very special. People made it very very special. So it’s something that I will never forget. So thanks to the crowd.”
