The Boston show is part of a 48-stop North American tour that will kick off June 29 in Kansas City, Missouri, and wrap up on Oct. 6 in Nashville, Tennessee. Sheeran will perform at TD Garden on Sept. 22.

Tickets go on sale March 17. A limited amount of tickets will be available during a ticket presale for registered fans at 10 a.m. on March 13.

Sheeran released two singles, “Shape of You” and “Castle on the Hill,” off of his latest album simultaneously on Jan. 6. “Shape of You” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has topped the chart for past six weeks. “Castle on the Hill” debuted at No. 6 on the chart, making Sheeran the first artist with two singles in the top 10 at the same time in the chart’s 58-year history, according to Billboard.com.
