Monday morning, Gillette Stadium announced a standalone Kenny Chesney show on August 25, 2017. The show will mark Chesney’s 16th headlining performance in Foxborough, more than any other artist.

Chesney also took to Twitter to express his gratitude and excitement for the concert via video.

“I can’t wait to see your faces, to feel your energy, for the only stadium show we’re doing,” Chesney says in the video. “We’re doing it because we love you.”

While the singer usually reserves Gillette Stadium for the last show of his tour, Chesney is not conducting a traditional tour in 2017. He is scheduled to perform at four music festivals in states like Florida and South Carolina, and explains in his announcement video that his outing in Massachusetts will be his only stadium show of the year.
