Some of the biggest names in Broadway came together in the wake of the shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando to support the LGBT community through song.

Lin-Manuel Miranda, Sara Bareilles, Carole King, Nathan Lane, Sarah Jessica Parker, Audra McDonald, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and more met up at Avatar Studios in New York to record a benefit single of “What the World Needs Now Is Love.”

“All of us in the Broadway community are deeply saddened by the senseless tragedy that occurred in Orlando,” Sean Hayes, Idina Menzel, and others say in a video by Playbill. “We send our love and support and thoughts and prayers to everyone impacted by this act of violence and hate. This terrible cycle of violence must end. We want to put out as much love into the world as we can because only love can conquer hate. Love must prevail.”

The song can be purchased online through Broadway Records for $1.99, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to benefit the LGBT Center of Central Florida.

Kristen Bell, Wayne Brady, Matthew Broderick, Fran Drescher, Gloria Estefan, Whoopi Goldberg, and Rosie O’Donnell are also among the more than 60 celebrities who added their voices to the song. They recorded the track on June 15, and it became available on Monday.

SiriusXM Radio host Seth Rudetsky and his husband, producer James Wesley, organized the all-star event, which was inspired by the 1985 charity track “We Are the World.” “What the World Needs Now Is Love” was originally composed by Burt Bacharach with lyrics by Hal David in 1965.
