Ebony Williams is ready to get in formation for tonight’s Beyonce concert at Gillette Stadium.

The Dorchester native who spent a decade with Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet is one of the backup dancers on Beyoncé’s world tour.

She’s also featured in the singer’s wildly buzzed-about visual album Lemonade, and is one of Bey’s backers in the “Single Ladies” video.

Williams told Boston.com last year that Boston laid the foundation for her dancing career before she left her home in Dorchester at age 23. She started studying ballet at 8 years old with Boston Ballet and attended Roxbury Center for Performing Arts before taking some time off in high school. She resumed her work at the Boston Conservatory for college.

Her first love was hip-hop. When the visual album was released on April 23, Williams took to Instagram to express what it felt like to be working with Beyonce on the album and tour.

“I feel so blessed, lucky and honored to be a part of this woman’s journey! Her message is so much bigger then what you see on TV and TMZ, it is so real and so POWERFUL!! Thank you GOD for letting me experience this!!,” she wrote.

Basically, Williams is living all our dreams and those lucky enough to score a ticket to tonight’s concert can watch her slay from afar.
