Barbra Streisand announces nine-city tour, including a Boston show
It's OK to feel a bit verklempt.
Singer, actress, and legendary performer Barbra Streisand is embarking on a nine-city tour in August—and one of those cities is Boston.
The best-selling female recording artist of all time will play TD Garden on Tuesday, August 16 to perform songs from throughout her career, including selections from her new album ENCORE: Movie Partners Sing Broadway, which comes out later this year. Everyone who purchases a ticket to the tour online will receive a CD copy of Streisand’s upcoming release.
This is Streisand’s first tour since 2012’s Back to Brooklyn run, and a rare Boston appearance from the icon, who has had a number-one album in six straight decades. Tickets for the TD Garden show go on sale Wednesday, May 25 via Ticketmaster.
