Guns N’ Roses will play Boston this summer
It's one of 21 cities the band will hit on a summer tour.
Eighties rock sensation Guns N’ Roses announced in December that they would be reuniting for this spring’s Coachella Festival in Indio, California. Now it appears that the group will not stop there: They’re going on a summer tour, as well, and one of their stops will be Boston.
According to a video posted Friday to the band’s official Facebook account and set to the band’s 1988 song “Patience,” Guns N’ Roses revealed that they will play 21 more U.S. cities this summer, including Boston. An official date or venue for the local stop has not yet been announced.

Separate from the summer tour, the band will visit T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on April 8 and 9 and Mexico City on April 19.
Lead singer Axl Rose, guitarist Slash, and bassist Duff McKagan have been confirmed as being part of the reunited Guns Coachella lineup, although it is not yet clear who will play drums. Guitarist Izzy Stradlin will not participate in the reunion.
