Walk The Moon joined Taylor Swift to belt out “Shut Up and Dance’’ in matching sequined jackets at the first of her two sold-out shows at Gillette Stadium on Friday night.

The 25-year-old pop megastar introduced her special guest with the special request, “They’ve never seen 60,000 people dance!’’ as Swift’s synchronized bangles glowed a rainbow of shades.

Needless to say, the crowd graciously obliged.

The surprise performances have become a regular fan favorite on Swift’s tours, and guessing who might show up is part of the fun. Previous special guest duets on the 1989 World Tour have included girl squad member Lorde’s “Royals’’ and a shirtless Jason Derulo’s “Want You to Want Me’’ in D.C., baby bro Nick Jonas’s “Jealous’’ in New Jersey, and country crooner Sam Hunt’s “Take Your Time’’ in Chicago.
