She’s baaaaack.

Almighty starlet Taylor Swift is back in Massachusetts this weekend to display her talents as the reigning queen of pop music and womanhood. (Well, maybe on the latter.) Swift’s insanely praised 1989 Tour is coming to Gillette Stadium for a two-night stint—likely with some of her wicked-famous BFFs in tow—and if you’re not there on Friday or Saturday, consider your summer drastically ruined by eternal and harrowing FOMO.

New England has some special history with Taylor Swift, though, considering she’s been coming our way since even before “Love Story’’ meant everything to everyone. When Swift’s sophomore album Fearless debuted in 2008, she played TD Garden in summer of 2009 during her Fearless Tour, only to bring that same tour back around the world in summer 2010 to Gillette Stadium. The event was Swift’s first-ever NFL stadium concert, also making her the very first female artist to headline a solo concert at Gillette Stadium. It’s milestone for both parties, for sure.

Since then, Taylor Swift has only gotten exponentially bigger, transitioning from wholesome country singer to invincible popstar. Every other year since Fearless she’s released a new album, and every other year she’s brought her world tours back to Gillette Stadium. This weekend marks the fourth time. And signs only show she won’t stop there.
