Here’s your crash course playlist for Boston Calling

Your 90-minute Boston Calling crash course.

Thousands will flock to City Hall Plaza this weekend for Boston Calling. Ben Stas

Are you familiar with all 23 artists taking the stage at Boston Calling, the three-day, two-stage music festival taking over City Hall Plaza this weekend?

The lineup includes Beck, Ben Harper, My Morning Jacket, Tame Impala, Run the Jewels, and Tove Lo, as well as homegrown rockers and folk artists the Pixies, Krill, and The Ballroom Thieves.

Consider this 90-minute playlist, assembled by Adam 12 at RadioBDC and featuring a song from each of the 23 acts, your Boston Calling crash course:

Now that you know the songs, let’s talk snacks. Food and beverages will be available at the show, but if you want to ditch the crowds in search of a more extensive menu, you’ll find everything from Mediterranean and Korean foods to salads, pizza, and hot dogs at these eight restaurants within a stone’s throw of the action. Some dining spots will even offer festival-inspired cocktails (if you like bourbon, order “The Calling’’ at the Tip Tap Room).
