Georges Island to Host Summer Concert Series

If you’re looking for a little summer fun in the sun, Berklee Summer Concerts at Georges Island might be the ticket.

Every other Saturday through August starting July 12, the Boston Harbor Island will host free festival-style music performances from artists such as Meredith Snyder, Cat and the Moon, and Nikolas Metaxas (each performing July 12, starting at 1 p.m.).

Other acts include Zoya on July 26, Damn Tall Buildings on August 9, and The Georgia English Band on August 23.

Georges Island can be accessed via the harbor ferry which services Spectacle, Georges, and Peddocks Islands from Long Wharf in Boston.
