President Bill Clinton Coming to Boston on Thursday to Receive City Year Legacy Award
President Bill Clinton will be at Boston’s Symphony Hall this week to accept a City Year Legacy Award.
The special event will take place this Thursday evening and will feature a Boston Pops concert to celebrate the former commander-in-chief’s latest achievement, as well as City Year’s 25th anniversary.
Clinton is receiving the award in honor of his longtime support of City Year and for his role in founding the organization’s branch in South Africa.
The sold-out concert led by Keith Lockhart will start at 7:30 p.m. and will also feature a perfomance by vocalist Judith Hill. Clinton is expected to speak at 8 p.m.
We secretly hope that President Clinton will break out his saxophone skills for this week’s special event.
