How to be Matt Damon’s plus-one to his next movie premiere
Donate to charity for a chance to hang with Damon in Vegas.
Matt Damon is just a do-gooder who’s trying to bring you to the premiere of his next movie, coming out this summer. All you have to do is be a do-gooder, too.
Omaze, the fundraising platform that’s partnered with other famous people like Tom Brady and Ben Affleck, is raffling off a chance to hang with Damon in Las Vegas at the premiere of Jason Bourne, which hits theaters July 29. According to the contest’s description, the winner will get flown out to Vegas and put up in a four-star hotel, walk the red carpet with Damon, and grab a beer with the actor at the after-party.
To enter the contest, you just need to make a donation to Water.org, an organization Damon co-founded that’s aiming to aid the water crisis, through Omaze. The more you donate, the more entries you get: A $10 donation gets you 100 entries, $50 gets you 500 entries (and Jason Bourne dog tags), and $100 gets you 1,000 entries (and a Bourne T-shirt). The potential donation amounts continue up to $10,000, which gets you 100,000 entries to win and tickets to see the premiere of Jason Bourne in Vegas.
