Warner Brothers’s action-packed, superhero-filled DC Comics adaptation of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice won’t open until March 25, but you can save your spot in the theater today – nearly a month before the film is due to release. Tickets are on sale now.
Batman v Superman stars Boston’s own Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Jason Momoa (of Game of Thrones fame) as Aquaman, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Projections from Warner Brothers’s rival studios and tracking executives anticipate that the film will rake in between $100-140 million on opening weekend, according to Deadline, and will give Deadpool, which recently cashed in at $132.7 million its first weekend, a run for its money. Literally.
