Trainwreck loves Gisele’s Instagram as much as we do
As told by Amar’e Stoudemire.
If you haven’t seen Amy Schumer’s new movie Trainwreck, there’s one quintessential Boston moment that few have talked about. The movie is as fond of Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen as the rest of New England.
There’s a scene in the new movie in which NBA big man Amar’e Stoudemire, playing a fictionalized version of himself, praises Brady and Gisele as he rests in a hospital bed.
Stoudemire has just undergone knee surgery, and appears to still be in a sedative-induced haze. Bill Hader, playing his surgeon, tells him the surgery went great.
And he does so in a way New England Patriots fans can appreciate. (Skip to 1:07 in the video for the scene in question.)

Stoudemire: “How’d we do?’’
Hader: “We did great.’’
Stoudemire: “Did it go Tom Brady good?’’
Hader: “It went better than Brady good.’’
Stoudemire: “Have you seen his wife Gisele?’’
Hader: “Yeah yeah yeah.’’
Stoudemire: “She’s hot.’’
Hader: “Look, you’re on a lot of medication right now so why don’t you just get some sleep, alright.’’
Stoudemire: “I follow her on Instagram.’’
Just like the rest of New England, Amar’e.
