The new ‘Batman V Superman’ footage from Comic-Con is awesome
Zack Snyder’s ‘‘ sequel gets a new, extended trailer

Comic-Con has been a veritable treasure trove of teaser trailers this year—that is, if you’re into shakey iPhone footage. Leaked trailers for Deadpool and Suicide Squad, recorded by fans at Comic-Con panels, were circulating the web Sunday. Meanwhile, the Star Wars panel didn’t offer a new trailer for The Force Awakens, but at least gave us this behind-the-scenes reel.
Fans did get a new official, extended trailer for the Zack Snyder-helmed Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, though.
In it, Dark Knight and Man of Steel fight face-to-face, which must be tough on Superman’s retinas, on account of those weird truck-headlight eyes on Ben Affleck’s bat-mask. Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor are featured. Buildings explode, some spoiler-y things pop up, and that unfortunate new bat-signal makes an appearance.
Watch the trailer above, and settle in for the painful half-year wait—Batman V Superman won’t hit theaters until March 25, 2016.
