‘Jem and the Holograms’ Live Action Cast Revealed
It’s really happening.
When director Jon Chu released a video announcing that he was teaming up with two hard-hitting Hollywood buddies to create a “Jem and the Holograms’’ live-action film, we thought it was a joke. Well, we were proven wrong today when Chu posted a photo of the actresses playing the four core characters.
Aubrey Peeples of “Nashville’’ fame is taking on the role of Jem, Disney Channel actress Stefanie Scott will play Kimber, “The Fosters’’ starlet Hayley Kiyoko will play Aja, and Aurora Perrineau (who only has four credits to her IMDB page) will play Shana.
Rumored cast members Ariana Grande and Jordin Sparks are nowhere to be found on the list. Now the only question is: Who will voice Synergy?
