Instagram, where it’s no longer hip to be square

The social media platform introduces non-square crops for the first time.

Ever take that ~*perfect*~ photo of your epic Sunday brunch spread only to realize it’s better suited as Instagram’s arch nemesis, the rectangle?

Well, fret no longer, as Instagram introduced portrait and landscape crop options today. The former square pic platform now gives users the options to display their rectangular images in full width/height glory.

For example:
